5 Western Novels Magazine: A Complete List of Issues

5 Western Novels Magazine was a pulp fiction publication that featured Western stories. The magazine was published by Standard Magazines, Inc. and sold for 25 cents per issue. It began publication in 1949, and continued at least through the winter of 1954. A British variant of the magazine was also published under the modified title “3 Western Novels Magazine” for at least one issue in 1949.

Editorial Details

Morris Ogden Jones served as the editor, at least during the magazine’s ninth volume in 1954. The publication was formatted as a pulp magazine, which was a popular format for genre fiction during this era.
